Water Services

Churchill County Water Services-  Schedule Effective: January 1, 2023

Water Services - Monthly Fee Schedule


A. Single Family Residential Home: Residential Base Water Charge per month is $56.60,
plus monthly water usage based on the following water usage:

  • 0 to 6,000 gallons $2.15 per 1,000 gallons

  • 6,000 to 20,000 gallons $2.65 per 1,000 gallons

  • 20,000 and more gallons $3.50 per 1,000 gallons

B. Large Domestic Water Usage Charges: Meter Size Charges

  • 1.5” Meter Size $86.80 per month

  • 2.0” Meter Size $135.30 per month

  •  3.0” Meter Size $281.80 per month

  •  4.0” Meter Size $410.00 per month

  • 6.0” Meter Size $819.70 per month

Water usage rate will be same rate as for Single Family Residential Home.


C. Multi Residential domestic customer shall pay a monthly meter charge based on size of meter, plus a water usage rate the same as for Single Family Residential Home.


D. Commercial water usage charge base rate is $86.80 per month plus a water usage rate the same as for Single Family Residential Home.


E. Construction water charge is $150.00 per month plus $2.65 per 1,000 gallons.

 

 

NOTE: Any construction, applicable permits and other expenses are sole customer responsibility.

Sewer Services

Churchill County Sewer Services Schedule Effective: January 1, 2023

Sewer Services - Monthly Fee Schedule

A. Single Family Residential Home base sewer charge shall be $63.85 per month.

​

B. Multi-Family Residential shall pay $63.85 base charge per month per unit.


C. Commercial Users: All classes shall pay $63.85 as a minimum charge and $4.25 per each
1,000 gallons in excess of 10,000 gallons per month as measured by water meter on the
property. Also, customer will be responsible for any applicable surcharge as determined
as EXTRA STRENGTH WASTE, which is identified as causing an increased cost of
collection, treatment, disposal or administration.


D. Commercial customers with non-metered water will be charged based on fixture units
calculated as per International Plumbing Code “IPC”. A minimum charge of $63.85 per
month will be for any commercial customer and will include up to 25 fixture units. Each
fixture unit in excess of 25 shall have a charge of $2.75 per month associated with it.
